理論上 LINE 的交談紀錄都在你的手機裡面，當你開啟 LINE 之後，可以看到你與朋友之前的對話，因為這些對話內容都在你的手機裡面。那 LINE 的伺服器呢？理論上技術絕對可以做到，但依據全球這麼大的使用量來說，LINE 應該會選擇想要紀錄的東西，倘若每筆對話內容都要記錄的話，恐怕需要很大的雲端資料庫容量才可以做到，所以個人臆測目前應該不會做到「對話」的逐筆紀錄，同時 LINE 台灣也表示：「並不會進行對話紀錄」這樣的功能。
