公投護台灣聯盟成員於22日將湯德章紀念公園內的國父銅像扳倒，國民黨團今天下午公布警方早已在聯盟成員捆繞銅像時抵達現場的照片，卻沒有即時阻止成員扯下銅像，痛批警方失職。

二分局長李政曉說，當天1點27分接獲通報後，1點30分抵達現場，當時銅像已遭聯盟成員繞繩、噴漆，幾經勸阻不聽，員警轉頭呼叫支援之際，銅像就瞬間被拉扯下來。
