浴室壁磚及地磚變更問題

小弟家剛交屋不久, 正在規劃裝修, 因為老婆對建商所使用的壁磚和地磚花色非常不滿意, 打算將兩間浴室的壁磚及地磚換掉.
請設計師規劃後, 建議的方法是將浴廁設備移除後, 將壁磚(及地磚)和原防水層拆除.
之後再重做防水層, 才能再重貼壁磚及地磚. 這工程實在太浩大了也所費不貲, 浴廁設備移除還有損壞的風險.

小弟想請各位大大賜教, 不知是否有其他簡易的方法? 例如只是單純重貼壁磚及地磚, 而不須拆除原先的壁磚(及地磚)和防水層?
