英推理小說家詹姆絲辭世享壽94

英國推理小說家詹姆絲（P.D. James）的經紀出版社faber & faber表示，詹姆絲今天早上在她位於英格蘭牛津郡的住家安詳辭世，享壽94歲。

詹姆絲生前著有20本書，其中大多改編成為英美電影及電視影集，筆下最有名的人物是倫敦警探亞當．戴立許（Adam Dalgliesh）。

詹姆絲獲得許多國際獎項與榮譽，包括在英國有推理小說諾貝爾獎之稱的「鑽石匕首獎」，1999年更獲頒美國偵探作家協會終身成就獎。

詹姆絲1991年受封為女伯爵，進入上議院。

faber & faber推崇她是「世界最偉大的作家之一」。
