耶誕樹送抵白宮第一狗狗相迎

美國第一夫人蜜雪兒．歐巴馬和兩個女兒以及「第一狗狗」今天在白宮迎接年度耶誕樹，預報耶誕假期開跑。

哥倫比亞廣播公司新聞網（CBS News）報導，兩匹馬拉的馬車今天接近中午時分，將近6公尺高的冷杉木送抵白宮前門，1小組軍樂隊在一旁奏出耶誕頌歌「噢，耶誕樹」（O Christmas Tree）。

蜜雪兒出門迎接耶誕樹，兩個女兒瑪麗亞（Malia）和莎夏（Sasha）也分別牽著第一狗狗「波」（Bo）和「珊妮」（Sunny）來一睹為快。

今年的這棵白宮耶誕樹是由布特克（Chris Botek）在賓夕法尼亞州晶泉樹木農場（Crystal SpringsTree Farm）栽植完成。而布特克才剛在國家耶誕樹比賽勝出。

國家耶誕樹協會自1966年以來，就保存協會成員和比賽贏家每年送耶誕樹到白宮的傳統。

整個耶誕假期，這棵樹都會放在白宮藍廳展示。
