日本研究：未來電視厚度不到0.5吋，「比手機還薄」！

以超薄為賣點，刺激消費者的購買欲——數年前曾在電視業界掀起的薄型化競爭將再次打響。美國時間1月5日，在2015 International CES開幕前舉行的發佈會上，索尼及夏普發佈了比原來更薄的4K電視機。

索尼將開始銷售號稱業內最薄、最薄部分只有約4.9mm的「X9000C系列」。該系列的一個宣傳重點是，最薄部分比一般的智慧手機都要薄。

夏普發表了厚度不到0.5吋的70吋級4K電視機，將作為「超纖細」產品投放市場。

零組件廠商也乘著薄型化浪潮展開行動。美國康寧公司（Corning）發佈了可使液晶電視機與智慧手機一樣薄的玻璃基板「Corning Iris Glass」。該玻璃基板是用於側光方式液晶電視的。康寧預定在CES上展出與堺顯示器產品公司（SDP）合作開發的、由SDP採用該玻璃基板製造的70吋超薄液晶模組的試製品。（記者：根津禎）
