周日梧棲競跑抬大轎

梧棲朝元宮周日在梧棲老街，舉辦一年一度的「梧棲走大轎」活動；朝元宮主委尤碧鈴指出，梧棲走大轎是海線特殊的宗教民俗活動，由梧棲區各宮廟神轎在媽祖神像前競跑，比次數、也比速度，看那家宮廟的神轎跑最多趟。中市文化資產管理中心主任張祐創說，「梧棲走大轎」以競跑方式抬轎，表達對神祇敬意及集體精神，已經通過登錄為台中市的無形文化資產。
