Google工程副總裁柏克（Dave Burk）28日表示，Google物聯網新系統「Brillio」目前還在非常早期階段，但相信未來Brillio物聯網裝置將成為與Android一樣普遍的生態系。

柏克同時透露，搭載Android新一代系統「Android M」的終端裝置，將會盡快推出，目前台灣的晶片廠如聯發科等，在發表會前已有新系統的程式碼等資料，相關裝置可能於今年底推出，有望推升相關裝置出貨量。

柏克是Google負責Android相關系統的重要主管，Google今年開發者大會中，柏克負責說明新一代Android系統更新，可說是Android代言人。

柏克認為，物聯網的挑戰是跨越不同載具、不同系統平台，設備間較無溝通標準；當智慧型手機與生活連結度高，手機和其他各種聯網設備連結性高時，物聯網商機較有機會發展。
