媒體報導「調查局增購監聽車，立委質疑搞政治偵防」，調查局今天澄清，2009年採購第1套行動偵蒐系統時，就因立委質疑監聽功能，在採購招標時特別註明「監察錄音功能取消」，所以現有的以及今年招標的行動偵蒐系統都沒有監聽功能；報導指行動偵蒐系統能「同時監聽多組行動電話號碼的對話」，與事實不符。

調查局指出，局裡只有1套行動偵蒐系統，因應外勤單位辦案需求，今年已出勤180次，支援毒品案件占92%，廉政案件8%，今年6月再增購1套是強化案件偵查效能，不是為了政治偵防。
