目前有公開資訊的撞擊測試如：
各國NCAP, 美國NHTSA, 美國IIHS都沒有實車後方碰撞的測試
只有測試後撞造成甩邊效應的保護
那是用座椅測試
所以是沒辦法比較轎車和掀背車後撞保護的差異
雖然有些掀背車後懸較短
但有些會在結構上作加強
都只能仰賴車廠自己的要求了
