民進黨主席蔡英文晚間到宜蘭草湖玉尊宮參拜，她說，大年初九是天公生，她來祈求國泰民安，最近雨水較少，也希望風調雨順。

蔡英文所到之處，受到民眾熱烈歡迎，全都擠成ㄧ團，爭相要跟蔡握手，不少人高喊「總統好」，蔡微笑以對。

面對民眾的熱情，蔡英文說，她很開心和感動，謝謝大家對她這麼好。
