身兼國民黨主席的新北市長朱立倫上午表示，最近拜訪了前總統李登輝及親民黨主席宋楚瑜等許多政壇前輩和長輩，每位都對國家的未來、以及政府和國民黨的改革，有很多建言，他都虛心接受。

朱立倫上午到新北市蘆洲區保和宮、湧蓮寺參拜，各發500個內裝10元硬幣的紅包，向民眾拜早年。他說，過年到了，多跟長輩拜年、跟前輩請益，是好的事情。

至於民進黨主席蔡英文登記黨內總統初選，媒體民調顯示朱立倫與蔡英文的差距最接近，朱立倫說，過年的時候希望大家都平安順心、都說好話，也祝福蔡英文，政黨有政黨的考量，有機會再跟大家說明。
