總統指示 秋祭播緬甸遠征軍影片

總統馬英九明天將在台北圓山忠烈祠，率副總統、五院院長、文武官員秋祭陣亡將士，並將遙祭當年在緬甸戰區英勇犧牲的遠征軍英靈。

總統府發言人馬瑋國表示，馬總統非常重視國軍這段光榮歷史，認為正因遠征軍在緬甸戰區的優異表現，使得盟軍對中華民國國軍刮目相看，大幅提升中華民國的國際地位。

馬瑋國說，馬總統指示國防部在明天舉行的「中樞秋祭忠烈殉職人員典禮」上，播放遠征軍紀念影片，除了表彰陣亡將士功績，也藉此表示，「國軍的犧牲奉獻與中華民國的生存發展息息相關、緊緊相連」，無論是北伐、抗日、光復台灣、保衛台灣，國軍對國家的貢獻，在歷史上永難磨滅。
