竹市府「汰弱」惹議監委要查

新竹市政府實施「汰弱留強」機制，監察委員王美玉和仉桂美申請自動調查，瞭解新竹市政府在政策推動上是否涉及違失。

監察院今天發布新聞稿，指出新竹市政府實施「汰弱留強」機制，於104年2月底逕以公文通知超過60名約聘僱人員不再續聘，引發爭議。

監委表示，新竹市政府為活化人力，對所屬約聘僱人員及臨時人員進行「汰弱留強」人力檢討機制，但據媒體報導，被淘汰人員中，竟不乏連續考績20年甲等人員、或在同仁眼中表現傑出的高學歷人員。

監委認為，市府通知聘僱到期的公文內容粗略，時效緊迫，不僅未告知不再續聘的理由，且未給予當事人陳述意見的機會，嚴重影響工作權益。

監委申請自動調查，將就新竹市政府實施「汰弱留強」機制是否合法、淘汰考核機制是否公平公正等問題進行瞭解。
